Meet the Team: Jazz Hall, General Manager at San Francisco – North Waterfront

Say hello to Jazz Hall, the newest member of the CENTRL team! As General Manager of our North Waterfront location, Jazz is bringing her passion for building community and creating welcoming spaces to San Francisco’s waterfront. When she’s not creating great experiences for members and guests, you might find her perfecting a new pastry recipe or dancing with her West African dance company. Get to know Jazz a little better below.

What’s a small thing that instantly makes your day better?
I feel so cheesy saying this, but just thinking about my dog. Mahina is the love of my life—she keeps me motivated through everything!

Sweet or savory?
Sweet, every time. I actually have a degree in baking and pastry, so I’m a little biased! I love a good croissant, and one of my recent creations was a pecan pie with a croissant crust. Highly recommend.

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
I’m a total reality TV person. Give me the entire 90 Day franchise or Hell’s Kitchen, and I’m happy just vegging out on the couch.

What’s one thing members might be surprised to learn about you?
I’m part of a West African dance company! It’s such a big part of my life.

Podcasts or music?
Both! I’ll binge music until I need a break, then switch to podcasts. The Read is my go-to, and Afrobeats is my favorite genre.

What’s your favorite restaurant in San Francisco right now?
Horse Feather. They have the best burger I’ve tasted in the city!

What are you most excited for in San Francisco in 2026?
Building relationships with our members. I love connecting with people and creating community—that’s what makes this work so rewarding.
