Local Coffee Recommendations – West End Portland

Portland is known for being a coffee town, and for good reason. If you’re looking to kickstart your day, stop into Heart for a quick espresso and a delicious pistachio rose croissant. Their honey cardamom latte is also amazing. They source fresh ingredients while combining interesting flavors even on the most basic breakfast items. We also love their minimalist chic decor which includes a unique touch of custom artwork.

Never Coffee

A gem of a coffee roaster, and only a two minute walk from our West End location. Never Coffee offers uniquely flavored lattes to go along with great artisan coffees. Unlike most flavored lattes, theirs have complexity of flavor without being too sweet. We especially like the Pop latte (matcha with tart cherries and lime) and the Yuzu & Salt latte. The space is inviting and comfortable, and the baristas are super friendly and informative.

This is one of our favorite coffee houses in Portland. The windows are big, the ambience is very calming, and their rotating artwork on the walls is always fun to check out. The baristas are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the drinks are always crafted perfectly and proportionally. All of their coffees are top notch, and the pastries are very good (try the spinach and feta muffin). Definitely give the Jasmine matcha latte a try.
