This lounge style bar and restaurant is located in the lobby of the KEX Hotel, and is the perfect spot to unwind after work. The bartenders are super friendly and this place definitely passes the vibe check. Tip: The Cynar (artichoke liqueur) Collins is lovely.

Craving some Russian cuisine? If your only answer is “vodka”, then it’s time to give this place a try. Their Happy Hour menu has a lot from the regular menu with favorites such as Beet Caviar, Tvorog Vareniki (scallion and farmer’s cheese filled dumplings), and the Golubtsi (pork and beef stuffed cabbage roll).

If there’s a wait, it is totally worth it for the great views, local food, and happy hour drink prices. Their seasonal menu has comfort food like Macaroni and Cheese, Hamburgers, and Herb Ricotta Toast with crunchy vegetables. Noble is a local-voirs dream, they have a rooftop garden that is active in the spring through fall months. Our recommendation is the Violet Drop cocktail with Vodka, Byrrh, lemon, house pomegranate, and violet from the rooftop garden!

Olymipia Provisions SE offers a variety of internationally inspired menus and has an extensive beverage program. Make sure to ask the person helping you for their charcuterie and wine and drink pairing (their entire food menu is designed to coincide with their beverages). Trying to match that Finocchiona with fennel seed, garlic dry cured salami with the perfect Italian wine? Just ask their expert staff!

If you are a fan of rum and/or tiki-tropical cocktails, then this is your place. Many of the ingredients are made in-house, from syrups to bitters, and drinks tend toward lush and rich. Food here tends toward warm-weather cuisine; think, Southeast Asia with a touch of South America, and it all goes remarkably well with the rum drinks.

Rontoms has everything you’re looking for in your after work spot: drinks, dinner, Ping Pong, a patio, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces. We love the ambience here. Inside it’s decorated with trees and bamboo, which give it a cozy, outdoorsy vibe. Definitely give the Dark Mountain drink a try. It has a unique pineapple flavor with a touch of bitterness. Very refreshing!

Hey Love is the official hotel bar and cafe at the gorgeous new Jupiter NEXT, and a stress-free neighborhood hangout. The ambience is amazing, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. They offer a tropically inspired menu of cocktails and plates, with options for vegans. The drinks here are creative, fun, and delicious, and we especially appreciate that they’re invested in our community.

Produce Row has been at the center of Portland’s craft beer scene since the 70’s, and is a great place to grab a drink and relax after work. They offer an impressive tap list and (we think) one of the best burgers in town. The pastrami sandwich here is also excellent. If you’re stopping by for happy hour, definitely try their grapefruit cocktail and brussel sprouts, topped with onions and bacon.
